बैसाखी कब मनाई जाती है ? 

भारत मे यूँ तो हर एक देश के, हर एक धर्म के अपने त्यौहार है लेकिन हर एक त्यौहार अपने अपने धर्म के लोगो के लिए बहुत खास होते है जिसमे से बैसाखी का त्यौहार भी पंजाब और हरियाणा और सिखों के लिए बहुत ही खास है । यह परम्परगत तौर पर हर साल 13 या 14 अप्रैल को मनाया जाता है ।

बैसाख क्यों मनाई जाती है ?

खेतो मे रबी की फसल पकने से किसान ख़ुशी से झूम उठते है इस ख़ुशी को सभी मिलकर मनाते है भगवन जी का शुक्रिया अदा करते है अच्छी फसल के लिए ! इसलिए इस ख़ुशी के प्रतीक को बैसाख कहा जाता है । माना जाता है 13 अप्रैल 1699 के दिन खालसा पंथ की स्थापना गुरु गोविन्द सिंह ने की थी । इस त्यौहार की तैयारी बहुत दिन  पहले ही शुरू कर दी जाती है जैसे की दिवाली का त्यौहार ।

1) लोग घरो की सफाई के साथ साथ, रंगोली और लाइटो से सजाते है।
2) इसी दिन सभी श्रद्धालु स्नान आदि से निवृत होकर गुरूद्वारे मे जाते है और अपनी अरदासें कहते है और गुरु ग्रन्थ का पाठ करते है।
3) अरदास करने के बाद गुरु ग्रन्थ साहिब को प्रसाद का भोग लगाया जाता है और फिर लंगर लगाकर प्रसाद बांटा जाता है।
4) शाम को सभी लोग आग के पास इकठे होकर फसल पकने की ख़ुशी मनाते  है।
5)  इस दिन मैलो के आयोजन किये जाते है और इनमे बहुत भीड़ देखने को मिल जाएगी।
6) पंजाब के लोग भंगड़ा, गिद्दो से अपनी ख़ुशी व्यक्त करते है ।
7) हलवा, खीर, पूड़ी और मक्के की रोटी सारसो का साग वैसाखी के दिन बनने वाले प्रमुख पकवान है।

Why is Baisakh celebrated?


When the rabi crop is harvested in the fields, the farmers rejoice happily, everyone celebrates this happiness together and thank God for a good harvest! Hence the symbol of this happiness is called Baisakh. The Khalsa Panth is believed to have been founded on 13 April 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh. Preparations for this festival begin many days in advance, such as the festival of Diwali.

2) On this day, all the devotees after a bath, go to the gurudwara and call their prayers and recite the Guru Granth.

4) In the evening all the people gathered near the fire and consider the happiness of harvesting.

5) Fairs are organized on this day and a large crowd will be seen in them.

6) People of Punjab express their happiness with doing Bhangra and Gidd.

7) Halwa, kheer and puri Maize bread, saraso saag is the main dish made on the day of Baisakhi.
